KU Marcia Burgess Foundation (the Foundation) is a charitable entity for KU Children’s Services (KU) and relies on donations and grants to support initiatives that strengthen opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, vulnerable children and children with additional needs, to succeed now and in the future. KU has been a leader in quality early childhood education since 1895 and has had a profound impact on the lives of children and families who experience social and economic disadvantage. We increase our social impact through a range of early education inclusion, early intervention, allied health, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and supported family programs, which the Foundation supports with a passion. Our vision is that every child experiences excellence in early education and care, inspiring learning for life. Our purpose is to nurture and grow children’s learning, and we partner with families and communities, and value children as citizens who create, think and do.
