JRS WINTER SOLSTICE BALL
The Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) Winter Solstice Ball is the social event of the year. Since 2003 we've held this night so young people can be part of the fight against global poverty and help the world's poorest - asylum seekers and refugees. Money raised this year is funding two JRS projects: educational scholarships for refugees in Kenya and a homeless shelter in Sydney's Kings Cross for asylum seekers. Rock band 'EVERMORE' are going to play on the night. International humanitarian Hugh Evans is our keynote speaker and Michael Usher from Channel 9 is our MC.

We have just launched our new website, do you like? Good,Bad and Indifferent welcome! Our new fundraising campaign with the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival has gone live, title "Run for a cause and run for FREE" and we have just launched the new ticketing feature!

"Run for a cause and run for FREE" is a new campaign which allows participants who fundraise up to a certain dollar target in the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival to run for FREE. It has been a fun experience creating this campaign. Ticketing? What is ticketing? I have been to a number of charity balls in my time and it has come to my attention that it is too hard to communicate to friends how to pay for their ticket. Every time I end up buying the whole table. Well guys this time you are buying your own. We at GoFundraise have created the ability to purchase ticket(s) for balls, we also ensure you receive a confirmation of payment. We even download the reports and send it to the charitable beneficiary on the afternoon of the event keeping admin costs for charitable fundraisers low.
